Description
Yes... it's possible. When winter does actually decide to roll around southern New England, RI does indeed have some climbable ice.
Getting There
The only two areas with anything somewhat reliable are Catamint Quarry in Cumberland, and Wolf Hill Quarry in Smithfield. Catamint is more shaded from the sun, and east facing making it arguably more reliable. However the routes are less challenging, with nothing harder than WI2+. Wolf Hill has some short, but steep and fun pillars, however most of the cliff is West facing, and much more exposed to the sun. If there is a solid period of cold weather, ideally mixed with some snow, there is a fair chance there is something climbable.
