Description Suggest change

Area below Lower Shaman Wall that contains a few dispersed boulders.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the new trail from the parking lot past the Classic Boulders. The easiest way to describe the approach is to tell you to go beyond the Classic Boulders and pass through the pinch point between two halves of a broken boulder. Continue up a stair-like section comprised of scattered stones and take the path to the left just before you would make it to the next constructed steps. Crystal Boulder and Ayahuasqueros boulder will be down to the left from the main trail.

Brad Caldwell's guidebook describes an approach down the Shaman’s Trail where the Crystal Boulder would be on your right, but you'd only make that approach if you started from Cedar Rock Parking Area on E Preston McDaniel Rd. The newer parking area is on Big Rock Lake Rd.
