Description

This is the large spire seen North of the Wire Pass parking lot. The spire is also very visible from the "Wave" trail

Getting There

Park at the obvious 2 car parking spot off House Rock Valley Road that is 6.9 miles south of highway 89. When driving south on HRVR you will pass Buckskin Gulch. The road curves around and then goes through an open area. A short distance past the open area you will see a parking spot on the left (east). It's large enough for two cars, and has a wilderness boundary sign at the back of it. Follow animal trails back behind here and then head south up the first valley. Once over a rise the spire is obvious and visible. The approach takes about 20 minutes from the car.
