Description
Tucked away on the north shoulder of Sugarloaf Mountain is Zuckerhut Platte, a 40 foot outcrop of orange and white granite with a trio of topropes.
The rock is a presently a little gritty from lack of traffic but should clean up over time.
- Zuckerhut Platte is German for Sugarloaf Slab.
Getting There
Parking is available midweek at the terminus of Research Park Drive; weekend parking is prohibited on Research Park Drive but parking may be possible in one of the lots of the nearby businesses.
Hike up the hillside making use of the donkey trails which lead directly to the base of the slab.
