Description
The northwest corner of Box Springs Mountain Reserve is home to Sugarloaf Mountain (1,896'), it's striking cone shape studded with numerous boulders on the upper slopes.
Most approaches in the area include a steep hike up and down the hillside although a few exceptions do exist.
- Watch out for poison oak and rattlesnakes on the hillside.
