Description
Named for the color and shape of the boulder and not actually after the British rock band popular in the late '70s and '80s. Short boulder perched on a cliff granting climber's a beautifully expansive view.
Getting There
Continue up the Climber's Trail. Enjoy the bolstered and shored up approach. Apparently, the constriction point and trail used to be constantly plagued by fallen trees and debris. Hikers/climbers no longer have to ascend a slab to progress up the mountain or to make it to this boulder (although squeezing between two boulders is required). Likely, the CCC and other land management partners are the ones to credit with this work, so make sure you thank them the next time you see one of their members.
