Hot in the summer, chilly in the winter. Secluded and rugged with difficult to access climbing. Lots of rock of various quality. Adventurous climbing awaits those willing to explore.

Many ways to enter, often the easiest is off highway 87 but not always the best option. Topographical maps will assist in proper planning.
