Description Suggest change

Probably the most popular and largest individual boulder in Chalten. Visible from the Sendero Fitz Roy trail, and somewhat sheltered from the wind, there is often at least three or more parties here in the afternoon. A great place to warm up or project, with flat landings and much variety. The line of the boulder is Último Mate (V13), for a time the hardest boulder in Chalten and unrivaled in its purity and beauty.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the Sendero Fitz Roy trail for 5-10 minutes and see Vaca on the right. It’s also possible to approach by hiking above the other boulders in this area.
