Description Suggest change

Fowler Ridge is the only area that is allowed for, and has developed rock climbing. Rock climbing is strictly off-limits in the rest of the forest.

There is no climbing allowed NORTH of the survey monument (see photo).

Fowler Ridge Rd, aka Copeland Bluff, is in the Northwestern part of the Pennyrile Forest. The bluff runs in a North-South direction making it ideal on sunny winter days.

Getting There Suggest change

From HWY 109, take the main state park entrance. Follow this road (Bainbridge/HWY 398) till you come to Macedonia Church Rd. Turn into the cemetery and follow the gravel road till you come to the top of the hill and see another gravel rd. Turn right onto Fowler Ridge Rd, and go till the gate.
