Description Suggest change

A small community park nestled inside a neighborhood that gets its incredibly creative name from the massive 30ft boulder planted in the center. Atop the boulder are several very old bolts/redirects and a relatively new anchor (I've had to tighten the bolts a few times so use them with caution). The easiest and safest way to get down after a topping out is to rappel down off these anchors (quick link/rap rings needed). Alternatively, you can down-climb the V2-3 slab on the southeast face. The rock is in direct sun all day so the best time to climb is in the mornings and evenings. Because it's Rocklin, and it's in the middle of a neighborhood, I've gotten the occasional "get down from there" or strange looks. It's a public park, just be nice and answer their questions or ignore them.

Getting There Suggest change

From I-80, get onto 65 for 5 mins. Take exit 308 and turn right onto Plesant Grove. Continue on this road until you can turn left onto Wykford Blvd (at the corner of a middle school). Follow the road all the way down turning left on Kali Pl. The park will be on your right.
