If you aren't sure if raptors are breeding here, then listen and watch for defensive behavior such as screeching or diving (links to info). If raptors are breeding in this area please climb somewhere else and let other climbers know.
Pressures on wildlife can be immense and are multiplied by effects of climate change and pollutants. Choosing to climb away from nest sites reduces unnecessary stresses to the birds. Give these animals a chance to thrive.

Description
The east side Raven C is stacked with some of the best moderates on the mountain including El Curvo (10+) and If You Bolt it They Will Come (10). Expect somewhat less than generous bolt spacing and routes that seemingly go on forever. The mixed climb Epic Commander (10+) is certainly a contender for one of the best mixed 10s on the mountain.
Getting There
Raven C is best approached from the east side. The east face (home to El Curvo (10+)) is about 1 minute down the hill from the Raven B/C chimney (home to Swing Set (11+), Raven Maniac (12-), etc.). Burrow through the chimney between Ravens C & D to access If You Bolt it They Will Come (10) and everything left of that classic line. Although Finger Lichen Good (5.8) and Little Birds (13-) are technically on the west "side" of Raven C, we have included them on the east side as they are much more easily approached from this side. Find these two climbs across from Swing set (11+) snd Raven Maniac (12-)
