Description
This wonderfully tall Quartzite wall has many traditional climbs that date back 10 to 15 years since establishment. This is a wonderful morning climbing area in the "shoulder season" and a comfortable winter climbing destination for early afternoon into evening climbing.
Getting There
The Upper Wall of Spring Creek (previously known as Upper Exit Gorge) can be seen from the old ADOT yard/ field. From the parking head south east to a narrow trail that drops off the edge of the open field and soon passes through a limestone boulder field; a slab approach from a Carin puts you into Spring Creek proper. Cross the creek/ wash to a Quartzite shelf that skirts the edge of Spring Creek to the wall.
