If you use chalk on the rock, brush it off when you are done. If you use tick marks, brush them off when you are done. Wipe your feet off prior to each climbing attempt. Excess chalk and any dirt, leaves, or mud can polish holds over time. Do not drag your pad from one climb to the next (in order to minimize erosion). And most importantly, Leave No Trace. Pick up your trash and place it in the trash cans at the trail head.
Description
This area hosts one of the most condensed clusters of problems. The rock quality is perfect and most of the problems are very clean. This has traditionally been the go to place to visit for your first time at Coopers (though County Line Boulders are more beginner friendly.
Getting There
Hike from the parking area along a gravel forest road and take the first climber's trail on the right. Once in the boulders, turn left and walk under the tall slab (Four Ton Mantis V3). After about 100 feet, you will see a short corridor with a slab on the right and a blank face on the right. This is the Tilted Tree Corridor. The problem Twist da Hick is on the right arete.
