The Kaltenleutgebner valley is right on the outskirts of Vienna but offers a surprising tranquility. In the forests surrounding the valley there are numerous rock formations that are among the most historic climbing destinations in the region.

Areas such as the Lutterwand, the Luckete Wand, the Kalksburger Grat, and the Mizzi Langer Wand are great for beginners.

Getting There Suggest change

Most areas are accessed from Kaltenleutgebner Straße, southwest of the city of Vienna (Wien). Many areas can be easily accessed by public transportation or bike.
