Description Suggest change

On the Quarries Foot Path trail right before the Bunker Hill Quarry is a quite big, gritty, granite boulder. It's interesting that this one in particular is a different type of rock than the majority of other stone here. The face has a pretty blank, big slab. It is gritty, so you should go on that alone. The overhanging face doesn't have any obvious climbs except towards the right arete. That looks like the most premium climb on this. It has crack and undercling features then a blank face section to a small hold or two under the lip and a jug on top. It may be 12 feet high. The other lower side has a problem or two as well. The whole thing needs cleaning.

Lastly, this just might be Egg in the Woods, V4-5, by the late John Strand posted in 2013 and never ticked again. I'm seeking confirmation.

Getting There Suggest change

Park near the beginning of Wompatuck Rd and next to St. Moritz Pond. Take the Quarries Foot Path trail toward Bunker Hill Quarry and you'll see this before you get to the quarry. It's the biggest stand-a-lone boulder there.
