Description Suggest change

North East facing Limestone Cliff near Emerald Lake. Sport Routes, both single-pitch and mulit-pitch. Perfect for hot summer days! Emerald Lake is a bit cool, but makes for a super refreshing swim after a great day of climbing!!

If you are new to Emerald Lake climbing, keen on Sport Multi-pitch and want a recommendation of where to start ... Try Family Jewels! A close 2nd is Diamond in the Rough!

Enjoy!

Getting There Suggest change

Drive along Hwy 3 to the PEAKs Campus (former Alberta Visitor Centre) near Crowsnest Lake. Turn South off Hwy 3 towards the campus and then take a right down a gravel road instead of left to the campus. Follow the gravel road for about 500m where it turns back into a paved road for another 1.5km to a parking lot at the end of the road. Climbs are as close as a 3 minute walk from the parking lot!
