Description
Welcome to another roadside crag for NWA. This limestone bluff line contains one large roof that hosts around 15 boulder problems from V1-V7+ with room for more problems and linkups. You can practically park under the roof and the lake is only 20 minutes down the road from the gym.
Crystal cave is definitely a local spot that is not a destination, but it serves as a close spot to boulder that has a good quantity of problems V5+.
The main roof has quality rock and movement once it has been cleaned. This limestone roof is surprisingly good and much more promising than any other roofs in the surrounding areas. Expect ledges to be dirty and feet to still chip away here and there. Be cautious of large flakes that are hollow and could be pulled off.
The land is on Arkansas Game and Fish and is part of the parking lot for Crystal lake. There is a hiking trail that ventures along the bluff line and explores multiple caves which is worth checking out. There is more potential further along the bluff line for climbs just be aware the holler that splits the bluff lines is on private property.
