Description
The Arco area has some worthwhile Via Ferrata routes. If you’re in Arco to climb, the Via Ferratas are good for a rest day, or a good way to get higher out of the valley without committing to a big multi-pitch day.
Mountain Project doesn’t have the Via Ferrata difficulty ratings as an option, so I tried to pick rock grades that were in the ballpark.
Getting There
You’ll need to find the approach beta for each via ferrata route. wikiloc.com is pretty helpful for this. Also the guidebook “Via Ferratas of the Italian Dolomites: Vol 2”, by Graham Fletcher and John Smith has good information on finding the routes. The map feature on MP isn’t too helpful because the climbs are very spread out. You can find them on Googlemaps however.
