Fun climbing on mostly compact grey rock. Some of the bolts/bolting is questionable, ranging from old bolts to new, poorly placed bolts (Petzl Longlife bolts that are in too shallow holes or placed in conjunction with sealant), missing bolts, etc.

Getting There Suggest change

From Arco head to the Climbing Zoo entrance, then drive roughly 600m North and park on the right side (well off the paved road and on the gravel) just before the (right side gravel section ends and the road narrows to pavement only. Cross the road at the flood caution sign and take the well traveled, rock lined path steeply up the hill. This will take you to a route called Obelix. There are several small areas that extend both to the left and the right. Approach is roughly 5 minutes to Obelix.
