Description
East-facing so it gets the morning sun and dries fairly quickly after rain. Might have been/still is a quarry? Bolted in 2022 (topo still being developed). About 14 routes, including 4 trad. Most routes are about 10m (7-9 bolts), except for one that goes to about 30m (16 bolts, probably a 6a, very nice route going up a crack). Easiest routes about 5b, with some maybe about 7a? Anchors are either maillons or locking carabiners. The rock face goes round a corner so there are some nice arete routes. Quite muddy (in Oct 2022), requires a fair bit of cleaning and potentially gardening tools to get to the base of some routes.
Getting There
From the farmhouse, go through the gate with a building (part of the apple farm; check with owner first) and exit the gate at the other end. Continue down the road towards the river where there's a log bridge, then double back on the road opposite, going towards the waterfall (following the river downstream). The rock face is on the right, and requires going over a rock/boulder field to get to the base of the climbs.
