Description Suggest change

A West facing crag that sports over a hundred routes in a wide range of grades. Those climbing in the 5.10 and 5.11 range will find a number of fine climbs here and Sector 4 hosts a number of easier routes. When things are hot down the hill this is a morning crag and when things are a bit cooler it is best climbed in the afternoon. There are five sectors, including an area that has several multipitch climbs. While the surrounding countryside is generally unpopulated and quiet, the crag can be busy on occasion.

Getting There Suggest change

From Sarche head West up the hill toward Ponte Arche on SS237. From Ponte Arche head up switchbacks on SS421 toward Fiave. Pass through Campo Lomaso, then head into Vigo Lomaso and turn left toward Lundo/Val Lomasone.  Note that there are many 'speed cameras' in this area.

A bit after passing a church on the left, veer slightly right at several signs marked 'agrilife' and 'val lomasone' (sm. red and white). There is a 6/SP 213 marker on the opposite/left roadside at this junction.

Continue up the valley on a narrow country road to another junction (road coming in from the right). Stay straight, immediately pass a fish farm, then reach a small sign on the right 'Malga Lomasone' (there are several structures on the left at this point). Continue for roughly another 1/4mi to the parking area (big sign: 'Parco dell' Arrampicata - Kletter Park - Climbing Park - Val Lomasone).

From the Northern end of the parking lot cross the road and head East across the meadow toward the forest on two tracks, which turn into a gravel road once the forest is reached. Continue on the gravel road, which weaves right then turns back left (North). There is an opportunity to take a shortcut (go straight on a signed/faint path for 50 yards or so to cut off a small loop of road), but if you're here for the first time you might as well stay on the gravel road.

As you continue on the road, it gets narrower, eventually turning into a path. Follow the path until you hit a signed junction: Sector 4 goes up and right, Sectors 1, 2, 3, and 5 go straight/slightly left.
