Description

A small section of cliff between Hazel Hollow and the backside of Velo crag. Some trad routes were developed here and lumped in with Velo as a placeholder until developers recently made a new delineation while adding a few sport lines. Named for a giant, fluffy, orange house cat that escaped its owner's van while they were staying at the Bald Rock Campground. Leonard spent almost six weeks as a solo crag kitty wandering the cliffline before being reunited with his owner.

Getting There

Easiest to approach via Hazel Hollow and continue along the trail to the right. As the wall turns the corner to the front face, a trail cuts up through a rhodo thicket to the first sport line -- Ten Cats. Continue further right for the main section of cliff hosting a handful of routes.
