Description Suggest change

Small crag with a couple of sport routes and some boulders. The rock type is plate gneiss and most routes are between 8-12 m longs. The rock is scattered through the woods and some of the routes can be linked to a short mutli pitch climb. It is a good spot for families and beginners dues to the short approach, grades and bolting.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Weinebene parking lot and follow the hiking trail towards Handalm/Osterwitz (505/578). After the little chapel continue to the right on trail 578. Continue on this for about 10 min. After you have passed through 2 cow gates and crossed a stream the path flattens and runs along the top of the climbing area. A third cow gate will give you access to the climbing area. You will pass by a climbing area info sign, which is about 2 min before the actual climbs. The rocks are visible from the parking lot.
