Description Suggest change

The Lavanttaler Alps form a part of the boarder between Austria and Slovenia and are named after a central valley in Kärnten, the Lavanttal.
The highest peak is Zirbitzkogel (2396 m), where you cannot find climbing, but there are plenty of hiking and skiing opportunities.

Getting There Suggest change

The mountain range is located partly in Kärnten and in Steiermark. Accsess is typically only possible with a car.
