Description Suggest change

This is a scruffy north- and west-facing crag that rises above the buried aqueduct/pipeline that carries water from Barker to Kossler reservoirs, providing a large portion of Boulder’s municipal water supply.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Castle Rock bridge, hike uphill along the base of Broken Rock, continuing upward to the buried aqueduct. Hike the aqueduct trail south and west, as it passes Mountain Rose and Frisky Cliff. Continue at least a quarter mile, until passes beneath the north face of Aqueduct Outcrop.

From a pullout on the highway, I have crossed the creek and bushwhacked directly to this crag and continued past, to approach The Sea of Tranquility. This direct approach, though short, took a long time. It wasn’t fun.
