Description

The Overlooked Boulders are mostly shady and south-ish-facing. They're so easy to see on the hike in, yet almost no one goes to the Overlookeds. If they get popular, they might need a name change (and of course, they might have had different names over the decades anyway).

Getting There

From the orange gate parking on Junction St., walk up the dirt road to the first switchback, where the steep trail goes up on the left. Look up, and the Cracked Egg will be right above you. Look a couple hundred yards to the right of the Cracked Egg at about the same elevation. This little group of rocks are the Overlookeds.
