Description Suggest change

The Orobie Alps / Prealpi Lombarde are a group of mountains in the central part of northern Italy. The range is bordered by Valtellina to the north, Bergamo-Brescia to the south, Lake Como to the west, and runs to the Adamello (which probably deserves its own area) and the Trentino Border. Often overlooked, these mountains hold numerous peaks, and countless sport, multipitch and even ice & alpine climbs when conditions are right. Includes Pizzo Coca, Pizzo Arera, Monte Alben, Presolana, Piani di Bobbio, Resegone, Grigne & Grignetta and many more.

Getting There Suggest change

Depending on the zone, most access is by car only. However, there are trains from Milan to Tirano, and usually there are buses than run to the smaller towns and mountain villages. Access is also quite easy via Bergamo and Brescia.
