Access Issue: PLACING BOLTS IS ILLEGAL IN THE SUPERSTITION WILDERNESS! Details

In the early '90's the USFS banned all placement of bolts in the Superstition Wilderness. This unfortunately includes replacement of existing bolts. Violating this ban may result in climbing restrictions on this beautiful area. Please think twice and go bolt somewhere else.

Description

Interesting collection of spires and fins.

Getting There

Hidden from the light, where witches like to gather, deep in the recesses of pinnacles at the base of the Lost Dutchman Parks west facing main wall. Approach via the Lost Dutchman park entrance or the trailhead at the beginning of First Water Road. Meander up trails toward center of main wall, eventually arriving at the large park bench along the main trail which skirts below the base of the large formation of varying cliffs. Meander up small trails toward Knucklehead spire - keeping it on your left as you ascend - and pass that spire, looking for the telltale hammer like fin on the main feature.
