Description
Sector Ejderha is a nice south facing wall of vertical gray limestone. As of 2020 there were 13 routes that range from 5c+ to 8? You can find excellent pockets, cramps, slabs and crack formations to climb here. The rock dries quickly and can be climbed the day after a heavy rain storm or sometimes within the hour. It is also conveniently located next to the massive over hanging amphitheatre of Can Baba making this wall a nice warm up or if this skies decide to dump the cave is a great place to retreat to stay dry. The hikers right version of the Can Baba approach trail walks directly past the crag so you'll be able to scope it out on your way to the main attraction. Enjoy.
Getting There
There are two approach trails that access sector Ejderha that both take roughly 15 - 20 minutes. The first yet sometimes less maintained path follows the base of the south-facing cliff band past Sector Ay and finishes at the left side of the large cave (Can Baba). This route brings you directly to the crag.
The other option for Ejderha is the main approach trail to Indian Man (the main cliff) It is located directly underneath the massive cave formation called Can Baba. Find a couple rock piles (kerens) that mark the trailhead and park on the side of the road so that other vehicles may easily pass. Cross a small stream bed that is normally dry and follow a well-worn trail that zig zags up the hillside toward the center of this larger face. When you break through the undergrowth you'll be standing in front of a massive wall and at the left side of Uzak Zurafa.
