Description Suggest change

This area was originally established by myself and Steve Tragesser as a drytooling crag. One day, we decided to give them a go as sport routes and assign them some grades. Turns out they all climb better as sport routes than dry tooling routes

The climbing is all pretty good for the area, but nothing is exactly classic due to the nature of the rock. The rock isn't what I'd call terrible, but definitely on the mungey/gritty side of things. Other than a bit of loose rock, it's a great road-side crag to get a few quick and pumpy pitches in. Or, pair it up with the Pinnacle or Ampitheater and make for a full day.

It seems important to note that there are fixed pins all over this rock, so it can be assumed the crag has been climbed before. A lot of the routes we put bolts on use an old pin or two, FYI.

Getting There Suggest change

Right by the stone bridge on Columbine trail (that takes you across the road to get to mid-Columbine), there is a small granite cliff right next to the creek. Not to be confused with Creekside wall, this cliff is below this area and much, much closer to the creek.
