This area is above what used to be Sweeney's Grubsteak and is now a pot dispensary at the intersection of CR203 and 550 north of Durango. For orienting oneself only: I've heard of climbers sneaking up to the slab and the other crag via a small blocky red sandstone step southwest of the large dirt parking area. But to do so would be trespassing. I suspect that access could be made legally by hiking up above 550 about a quarter mile south of the 203-550 intersection and then contouring around north to the cliffs. It is advisable to identify private property boundaries prior to exploring or venturing into this zone.

This slab faces east and is composed of somewhat soft white sandstone.
