Economy Ice Climbing

Head to Economy on the #2 highway, turning off at Soley Covey rd and following it to these coordinates: (45.3930364, -63.9954760). Park with deference to the local signage and head down to the beach over the guardrail. The tide needs to be headed out to have access to the climbs, and it is a couple of Km’s to the first climbable ice.

This area has remarkably variable conditions, out when it should be in, in when it shouldn’t be. The tides make access treacherous, so mind your times or you’ll have to climb out and hike. A road and properties can be found above the cliffs, but these are private properties and trespassing is unwelcome.
