Description
Scenic bluff cropping out from the main cliff line. Low sections of the wall are generally chossy and improve the higher you go.
Most climbs here have two bolts at the top without lower off rings/ hooks, so equipment to build a top anchor (e.g. a quad, webbing, opposing draws etc.) Is required. Clean from the top for each climb.
Getting There
This cliff face is visible from the river banks at Ham Creek Park.
If there's a drought and the water levels are low, the simplest approach is the shoreline. Once you reach the first shore boulders, go up the sheer incline to Indian head.
However, the shoreline becomes impassible during rainy seasons, and the Equestrian trail becomes the best option.
From the park trailhead, follow orange tape around tree branches east for a little less than a mile. Use the approach lines shown here on mountain project and google maps to keep reference. If you make a wrong turn, backtrack to the last orange tape marker and re-assess.
The hike is approximately 30 minutes (without getting lost in thorny vines).
