Description
Champion park is a large, family oriented park that sits along Brushy Creek and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail. The creek itself flows along the back of the park, and along the creek are several scenic stretches of rock.
The park has some potential for more intermediate routes (V3 ish), but it is still definitely not a climbing mecca...said lightly, it's not a place you'd drive over 30 minutes to. It's best suited to beginner or intermediate climbers (or someone who's just looking for a little fun) who happen to be in the (literal) neighborhood, and are curious enough to take a casual peek.
Note that some portions of the rock here can have bad choss, but it can be worked around in most cases, or knocked off while cleaning.
