Description

Distinctive, Termite Tower (could have another name? please send info) is an obvious objective when hiking west up Muddy Creek. The climbing is scrappy but the views are excellent. Currently, there are two established routes up the formation.

Getting There

From the Upper Muddy Creek parking area, cross Muddy Creek and hike west on the creek's south side. The tower isn't visible from the parking area but becomes obvious after a mile. Once locating the "Termite Tower," hike up a talus gully to the south face. Expect around an ~1.5 mile hike from the end of the 4WD road. There is another two pitch route (unknown difficulty on the northwest side).
