Description
This is the primary cliff face you see while hiking up the trail before forking left or right for the two main sectors of Cecilville Bluffs. The cliff remained un-developed in favor of the harder walls nearby. Numerous moderates have now been put up with more in the works (anybody want to contribute?). Pitches tend to be shorter than nearby offerings, usually 60-100' and some routes have a bit of wandering in order to follow the most enjoyable line. The longest route currently is 450' and can be climbed in 5-6 pitches. There is still potential for some more lines, especially some short, easier lines.
We have not seen any nests on the wall, likely because there is a big one at the Fortress and the Cecilville one is usually over above the New Wave Cave. That said, like all the limestone around here, be attentive if a nest does ever show up to just avoid the wall when it's active.
