Description Suggest change

This is the northmost tower on Kangaroo Ridge, and sort of a subsummit of Big Kangaroo. It has a lopsided, sort of mushroom-shaped summit. Rock is the Golden Horn granodiorite like the rest of the ridge, and thus a pioneering difficult route was done by the Beckey brothers and Walt Varney in 1942.

Getting There Suggest change

From the hairpin at Washington Pass, hike a climber's path along Early Winter's Creek, then ascend to the base of the towers.
