Description
This area was originally founded for the big sexy offwidth located here. There are several walls surrounding the offwidth boulder that contain good face climbing with unique, fun movement. Worth coming to whether you prefer the crack or the face climbing. This area can be found by hiking straight uphill from the hog wall for about 3 min.
Getting There
From the parking for 1st Pigtail Boulders, hike east across the stream until you pass The Hog Wall. Head straight uphill about 3min (climbers left) until you reach the top. From the top you will see a tall formation/wall on your right. Keep following next to this until you start to trend back downhill. Here you will have the face climbs on the wall to your right (southeast) and the leaning boulders that create the offwidth (northwest) on your left. Alternatively, if the road to Iron mountain is closed, you can park at the turnoff/gate for Grizzly Creek Campground and hike across the road straight uphill (south) in a drainage line for 6 min to reach the area.
