Description

Usually not on the radar for most climbers, this small area has a couple easy ice climbs in it. If you need a short half day outing, this is a great spot to get the blood moving without having to travel too far. There is some possibility maybe for some rock climbs in the future, but most everything looks pretty chossy.

Getting There

From the entrance to Ala Archa you drive for just a few minutes before you get to the Zoological Museum. Park there, cross the street, cross the river (there is a good bridge that was fixed in 2020) and then take the trail to the right. It will curve around and go up the valley towards the Birch Grove. Follow the stream until you get to the first waterfall.
