Description

Located on the opposite side of the road from the LT/AT parking lot, Snow Valley boasts a couple of worthwhile boulders and problems. Fun fact, Snow Valley used to be a small ski area that operated for close to 40 years prior to its closure in the mid-1980s. Recently, it looks like someone has purchased the ski area property - or the original owner - has decided to clean things up and rebuild. The boulders are not located on Snow Valley land but are in close quarters.

Getting There

From the Bromley Forest (AT/LT) parking lot, carefully cross the road and travel on the AT/LT South. Before the VAST snowmobile trail that you will eventually cross, the Tufa boulder is uphill to the left. After crossing the VAST snowmobile trail, continue uphill until you wrap around a ridge and the terrain levels out. Most of the boulders are along this ridge on the left-hand downhill side.
