Description
By far the toughest and coolest area of San Antonio el Grande. Awesome overhung wall with cool looking tufas, huecos and pockets. A must visit if you are around.
Getting There
Drive east to the small town of Santa Eulalia, keep driving through the main road uphill, then you'll see a dirt road with a sing that says ¨To minas de San Antonio¨. Take that dirt road and drive uphill around 7 kilometers (find a way to coint them or simply watch your dashboard´s counter), till you get to a small quarry section to the right of the road, this is where you'll have to leave your vehicle. To the left of the road facing north you'll see another road blocked with ricks, follow that road downhill all the way to the end of it (there is a trail that will get you to the end of the road in an almost straight line). once you get to the end of the road, facing north you'll see the beginning of a dry creek that heads east, follow it until you get to the Tufas wall, it will be a little bit off the dry creek´s path to the right (Is hard to miss it because it looks incredible at first sight).
There is another way to get to the Tufas wall, and that is by following the canyon that leads to the Aurora´s wall. Follow it uphill till you get to Tufas. (I don´t know how long the path is or how hard so proceed with caution)
