Description
Higher elevation area, so be prepared for sudden storms through the summer.
There are a handful of sub-areas around the reservoir, and really nice granite everywhere, go explore!
Getting There
Drive up Louis Lake rd for a few miles, the road is not maintained from the first major snowfall of the year until around June, you'll see the turn to Worthen Meadow Reservoir on your right just before the paved road becomes a dirt road.
Continue driving until you come to the first turnout/parking area along the reservoir on your right.
Stop here and walk around the woods or along the water. There are plenty of camping sites if you want to stay for a while.
