Serene Boulders
Several granite boulders sitting around Highway 2 east of Gold Bar. The rock quality is immaculate and the rocks are some of the largest in the area. Western Washington's earliest bouldering history begins here.
Getting There
If you are headed east on Route 2, you'll find a large pullout 2.3 miles from the intersection of Reiter road and Route 2. Another easy way to think about it is you'll see mile marker 32 on the right side of the road just a bit after Zeke's Drive-In. You cannot miss the Camp Serene Boulder now that the area has been clear-cut.
