Description

This is one of the first boulders in the boulder field. The boulder is the first of the gate way boulders that lead up to the upper section of Darnell, There are climbs that are well worth the stop like Sunset Arete and Buckets of Goodness V0. Classic spot.

Getting There

Park just before the campfire boulder and park in the big pull off on the left side of the road. There is a clear trail that leads up the hill (kind of looks like an old logging road). If you are approaching from the 5th pull off and pass the boulder marked "4" the trail should be immediately to your right. Take that trail for 2 seconds and the boulder should be on your right. Again with any area at Darnell Hollow this boulder can be seen from the road.
