Description Suggest change

Like their neighbors to the North, Kinickinick Crags, Sandbeach Rocks aren't really a destination for most climbers. However, they're worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different and off the beaten path. Save these for last, once you've climbed everything at Lumpy, Twin Sisters, The Ironclads, etc.

The routes here are older, and some of the fixed gear is suspect. Complex anchors are required for toproping, but the routes are decent, albeit short, leads.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow directions to Kinickinick Crags. Instead of heading off trail towards Kinickinick Crags, keep heading South towards the junction with the Sandbeach Lakes Trail. Head right and in less than a quarter of a mile, you'll be at the first crag. Log Jam is the #4 crack right off of the trail.

Alternatively, you can park at the Sandbeach Lakes Trailhead and follow that trail to the crags.
