Description
Many of the bolts in this area may be in extremely poor condition and should not be used. I've been asked by Jim Thornburg to update this page with mention that the bolts, while shiny, could likely be in poor condition inside the hole, seeing that they are 316 grade SS wedge bolts, which are subject to severe internal corrosion from marine environments. A replacement with titanium would be advised.
Gritty cliff on the promontory just north of the Shipwreck Wall.
All the bolts have been rebolted by jim
Getting There
Will be updated when the DANGEROUS BOLTS are fixed.
Evan’s edit: someone has changed this description, and removed the location. So if you stumble upon these shiny bolts on your own while walking this beautiful beach, you won’t be able to connect it to this page that will inform you that the bolts are bad. The bolts *look* just fine, but could potentially snap under body weight. If only there was a way to link those bolts to this page via a location description…
