Description

This area covers the eastern quadrant of the park - from the Nature Study Area that borders Whitney Thayer Woods (east) to the Heron Pond Area (west).

Getting There

It is most easily accessed using the Doane Street entrance (Cohasset). There’s parking for 20 cars. Must be out by 9:30pm.
Enter through the gate, and walk about 8 minutes on the paved fire road. At your first major paved junction, you'll see a sign giving directions to all other parts of Wompatuck. Instead, look for the NS1 trail marker sign (on a tree), and enter the trail. This area has at least two climbable blocks, including the Burbank Boulder.
