Description Suggest change

The Fish Hatchery is still relatively undeveloped but has the potential for some really amazing bouldering close to the town of Leadville. Mellow trails throughout the Fish Hatchery forest lead to granite boulders varying in size, from small traverse problems to massive highballs. The rock is good quality but is obviously a little dirty. Hopefully the establishment of this page will draw attention to the area and the rock will clean up, and more boulders will be discovered!

Getting There Suggest change

From US Hwy. 24 turn onto CR. 300 for a couple miles until you reach the National Fish Hatchery. Hike up into the Fish Hatchery trails from the parking lot to reach the boulders. Approach times varies but can be between 5-30 minutes.
