Description
Getting There
Park at the red gate at the 2.6 mile pull off. If full, consider the pull off at 2.8 miles and walk the road down hill to the red gate pull off.
Cross the stream and continue up to the Y at the transmission lines. Go left past the 5 Star Warm Up trail. At the back of the clearing for the tower there is a trail that enters the woods. Head up the slightly steep trail for 10 min. Pass a 15 foot high ridge of rock. The trail will lead you to Yonko boulder. The access trail is marked on the MP area map
Continue counter clockwise around Yonko and go right toward the ridge. Travers the top of the ridge to the left for 30 feet to access Straw Hat boulder. (2 min)
from the north west corner of Straw Hat boulder take trail to the left for 25 ft then turns up hill and into a clearing. Continue straight up through clearing to large low boulder. Turn right and enter trail in woods for 15 feet to access Admirals boulder. (4 min)
Follow a social trail uphill past Yonko boulder, trending leftward toward the sound of water to intersect the gravel road. Turn right at the gravel road to continue approach to clearcut boulders.
