Description

This diminutive peak (really a bump on a ridge) is tucked away in a corner of the south fork drainage, near The Thumb and Southfork Pass. Nice views can be had by hiking up to the saddle at the south end of it, and maybe scrambling to the top from there.

Getting There

From the Upper Sage Flats overnight parking 4.8 miles and 2800 feet of gain on good trail gets you to Brainerd Lake. Another 0.4 miles and 500+ feet of gain on bits and pieces of trail takes you to the north end of Finger Lake. From here travel cross-country 0.7 miles and 700+ feet (which could include some scrambling) to arrive at the north end of the peak.
